Coil

Coil

Coil Wound Heat Exchangers are the simplest type of heat exchangers. Similar to Tube and Shell in concept only ( tube within a vessel). A coil is wound to a predetermined length housed within a vessel. The length of the wound tube is dependent upon the sizing of the system it will be supporting along with the temperature range required. Coil-wound heat exchangers are compact and reliable with a broad temperature and pressure range.
