BELTLESS MAGNETIC CONVEYORS

Flow Pro Beltless Magnetic Conveyors utilize permanent ceramic magnet assemblies to attract and convey ferrous material. Chips and fines are removed from metal-working coolants and cutting oils, conveyed to a discharge point, and released into a tote pan or hopper. The conveyor can also be utilized in other applications such as: stamping scrap removal, parts feeding, and part removal.

DESIGN;
Flow Pro Beltless Magnetic Conveyors have no external moving parts. Because there are no cleats or sharp moving edges, there are no places for chips to jam or wedge, providing virtually maintenance-free operation. Conveyors are available in five different models with a variety of options to meet all applications.

Flow Pro Beltless Magnetic Conveyors are also available in an expanded curve radii configuration which allows the carrying of long parts or scrap. These LR series conveyors are available in C and D models in widths the same as standard models.

  • Liquid-tight construction with internal oil bath for continuous lubrication
  • Automatic spring-loaded self-adjusting take-ups
  • Magnetic assemblies encased in stainless steel jackets: 6” ,9” , 12” , 18” , and 24" magnet centers (Models B & C), 12”, 18”, 24”, and 36” magnet centers (Model D)
  • Easy access to magnetic assemblies making removal, addition, or change in center-to center distance possible without breaking the internal chains or disturbing the take-ups
  • 2052 hp oversized roller chain (Models B & C) 2082 hp oversized roller chain (Model D)
  • Angles of incline are available in 150 increments from 300 to 900
  • Leg supports, hoppers, baffles, sideguides, and covers available to suit application
  • Side-mounted gear drives standard; top-mounted are available as an option, both with torque limiters to protect drive components
  • Cross braced and reinforced steel frames
  • Speeds to 60 FPM
